Song by Michael Jackson and The Jacksons ‧ 1973

No matter where AJ went or who he was with, he became a “dancin, dancin, dancin machine.” He loved to dance. AJ was automatic and systematic, full of color and self-contained. We will remember him as captivating and stimulating, rhythmic, and acrobatic. – Grandma Rose

Gone Too Soon, Song by Michael Jackson ‧ 1991

AJ had a vibrant spirit that resonated with everyone he interacted with, whether it was through his love of dancing, singing, anime, or simply sharing a radiant smile that would make Michael Strahan jealous. We all know that he had an affinity for Michael Jackson, and as such, he aptly moonwalked his way through life’s highs and lows, and always managed to find the silver lining. His physical presence will be missed dearly, but his spirit will continue to resonate with us all for the remainder of our lifetime.-Derek and Uncle Steve

Song by Michael Jackson, Childhood - 1995

When I think of AJ, I think of the song, Childhood. When AJ came to love me as his Aunt as a child, he had just recently lost his Mom. I remember how he kept giving me hugs. Someone stated to me, you must remind him of his Mom. That is when AJ and I formed a bond. The part of the song that touches me is “Before you judge me, try hard to love me.” AJ was not hard to love because he loved love and just wanted people to accept him. I wish he knew how many lives he touched, and how many people accepted and loved him for him. -Aunt Bridgett Hamilton
